Sandy Acres Resort is located on Elephant Lake in beautiful Haliburton Highlands, Ontario.

Non-polluted Elephant Lake is centrally located on over 40 miles of waterways from Baptiste Lake to Algonquin Park’s York River. From these waters come your trophy muskies, large and smallmouth bass, walleye and pan fish. Bring your own boat, or we do have rentals as well as canoes and windsurfers to get you out on the lake. Or relax on our beautiful sandy swimming beach, one of the nicest in the area.

It's safe, shallow, and private with a water slide, which is especially fun for the young ones. Canoeing in to Algonquin Park from our lake is an awesome nature trip. High Falls is also a great day trip if adventure is what you crave. We do have privacy and plenty of nature on site if you just want to sit and enjoy the view.

An eighteen hole championship golf course, and nine hole course are located within 5 minutes as well as a Riding Stable.
